The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for an Inside Sales Intern, come grow with us! This is a summer internship!
Reporting to the US Quotations and Technical Support Manager, this position plays a key role in supporting the Sales Team. This internship provides hands-on experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems, data integrity practices, and business operations that drive commercial success. The role will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Data Cleanup: Identify and remove duplicate customer records, correct inaccurate entries, and update missing information such as emails, phone numbers, and job titles.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter new leads, contact details, and meeting notes into the CRM system.
  • Database Maintenance: Review customer and account data to ensure alignment with current company structures and hierarchies.
  • List Segmentation: Assist in building and maintaining targeted lists to support marketing campaigns and customer outreach efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university business program
  • Strong analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel
  • Superior organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Ability to work under and to meet deadlines consistently
  • Detail oriented
