Job description

Job Summary

Serve as the dedicated on-site customer service representative for a major account group, providing daily support on the customer's premises. This position is contractually required and specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

Essential Functions

  • Customer Support: Resolve claims and enrollment issues; provide benefits education tailored to account needs
  • Stakeholder Communication: Inform Marketing & Sales of service issues and renewal risks; coordinate with Account Coordinator on timely resolution of policies, procedures, and mandates
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain professional relationships with group administrators and employees
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop tracking systems and reports to measure satisfaction and identify improvement opportunities
  • Enrollment Support: Conduct Open Enrollment meetings and create educational materials (newsletters, benefits guides)
  • Compliance: Attend mandatory training and meetings; perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 3-5 years in service, sales, or marketing (healthcare preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertise in health insurance benefits, claims processing, and BCBSF procedures
  • Proficiency with relevant systems 

Education

  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Group health program administration or servicing experience
  • Knowledge of BCBSF's managed care delivery functions
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Bilingual capability
  • Local residency; willingness to travel to Jacksonville office as needed

Hourly Pay Range: $24 - $38
