Job description

Associate Account Executive (AAE) — Trucking Insurance | $140K OTE | San Francisco

  • Pay: $140K OTE — $70K base + $70K commission (50/50 split, uncapped)
  • Where: Downtown San Francisco, in office 5 days a week — 5-minute walk from Montgomery BART
  • Hours: Mon–Fri, 9–5. Start ASAP.
  • Benefits: Health benefits included
  • Must have: US work authorization (no sponsorship)

Who we are

  • Corgi is an AI-native insurance carrier — $4B valuation, $374M raised, HQ in San Francisco
  • We launched trucking insurance in July 2026 — auto liability, cargo, physical damage — in 30+ states
  • We quote in minutes and answer every in-appetite quote within 24 hours. The rest of the industry takes weeks.

What you'll do

  • Prospect insurance agencies that write trucking — real conversations about markets, appetite, and loss runs
  • Run first-call discovery: book size, carriers in use, what's broken, which accounts we could quote this week
  • Book demos and co-run them with an AE, then shadow the close and the first submission
  • Feed what brokers tell you back to underwriting — it shapes our appetite

What we're looking for

  • 1+ years in SDR/BDR, inside sales, or any insurance seat — or a background that proves you grind (athletics, military, service)
  • High call volume without flinching; hungry for a closing seat
  • Bonus: Salesforce or Outreach, logistics or trucking exposure

License and insurance experience

  • Not required. No P&C license? We'll get you licensed in your first weeks — study time and exam fees on us. No insurance background? We'll teach you.
  • Already have it? You start ahead. Any P&C seat counts — CSR, account manager, producer, carrier, MGA, wholesaler.
  • Big bonus: trucking brokerage. Freight brokerage or an insurance brokerage that places trucking — you've lived the three-week-quote problem, and that puts you ahead of every tech-sales hire.

Why this seat

  • This is the AE track. Pitch-certified by day 15, running demos by day 30, ramped by day 90.
  • Fastest promotion to AE: 3 months. Average: 6.
  • Founding seat, fresh territory, no burned lists

Corgi is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants are considered without regard to any legally protected status.

Company Description

Corgi is an AI-native insurance carrier — we're the insurer, not a broker. We launched commercial trucking insurance in July 2026: auto liability, cargo, and physical damage for fleets of every size across 30+ states. We quote trucking risks in minutes, issue policies the same day, and answer every in-appetite quote within 24 hours, in an industry where brokers are used to waiting weeks. The trucking line is our third billion-dollar market, after property ($200M ARR) and startups. Corgi is a $4B company that has raised $374M, headquartered in downtown San Francisco.
