FIELD SALES ENGINEER - OREGON
Ingersoll Cutting Tool Company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of metal cutting tooling systems and a member of the IMC Group, a Berkshire Hathaway company, with over 130 subsidiaries in 60 countries worldwide. Our U.S. operations are based in a state-of-the-art manufacturing and marketing campus in Rockford, Illinois. We are currently seeking a Field Sales Engineer to support and grow our customer base in the Oregon region. You do NOT need to reside in Portland to be considered for this position.
An ideal candidate will have proven Technical Sales experience that drives business growth and/or strong hands-on machining experience applying cutting tools across a variety of workpiece materials, along with CNC programming experience (manual and CAM systems). A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required in either technical sales or CNC machining/programming. Prior sales experience in cutting tool industry is a significant advantage.
This is a field-based role requiring daily travel (approximately 70–80%) throughout your assigned territory, with a primary focus on in-person customer visits, relationship building, and driving sales growth.
This is an exempt position offering a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus a commission structure with strong earning potential.
