ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales Senior Associate, Walmart/Sam's is a critical enabler of commercial success, serving as the operational backbone of the Walmart/Sam's sales team. This role supports effective selling and flawless execution by owning daytoday operational, administrative, and systemrelated responsibilities. Partnering closely with Sales Directors and Managers, the Senior Associate ensures pricing, promotions, item setup, and digital content are accurately executed across Walmart and Sam's Club systems. Serving as a key liaison for deductions, events, and item lifecycle management, this position plays a vital role in driving customer satisfaction and internal efficiency. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, an ownership mindset, and deep expertise in Walmart systems and processes.

Please note: This is a Home Office-based role. Ideal candidate will live in Bentonville AR or nearby with the ability to travel to attend customer calls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Senior Associate Walmart/Sam's will:

  • Sales Team Support

    • Serve as a trusted day-to-day support partner to the Walmart/Sam's sales team.

    • Keep timelines, details, and execution on track so the team can focus on selling.

    • Keep shared tools and resources organized and up to date (Teams channel, shared files, templates).

    • Support planning and execution of customer meetings and events, including basic logistics and prep tracking.

  • Sales Reporting

    • Own reporting shipment and forecast reporting for the sales team. Update regularly and ensure accuracy

  • Trade System Management

    • Take full ownership of Telus, including entry and ongoing maintenance of pricing and promotional events.

    • Support deductions by managing documentation, troubleshooting issues, and keeping everything audit-ready.

  • Manage Item Setup & Maintenance

    • Own item setup and maintenance across Supplier One and Retail Link, making sure everything is accurate, complete, and customer ready.

    • Complete customer new item forms and supporting documentation from start to finish.

    • Maintain the master distribution list, keeping item statuses, changes, and updates current and clean.

  • Lead PDP & Content for the Team

    • Serve as the PDP lead for all items on Walmart.com and Sam'sClub.com, ensuring content quality scores are being achieved and maintained

    • Partner cross-functionally to support item launches, updates, and ongoing content maintenance via Salsify and the Lifestyle Brands eCommerce contacts

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree, 2 years' sales experience sales experience calling on Walmart/Sam's Club or other relevant customers, plus at least 1 year of experience leveraging Retail Link and i360.

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship for full-time employment
