Position Overview:

The Sales Assistant provides support to CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC's ("CCM") mortgage loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The Sales Assistant works directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Frame Home Team loan officers and processors during the loan setup stage, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and overnighting documents.
  • Assist with loan file setup by organizing, labeling, and preparing incoming documentation for the loan officer and processing team.
  • Clarify or correct information and obtain additional documentation as necessary via phone, email, or in person.
  • Perform a preliminary review of incoming documents for completeness (e.g., missing pages or signatures), flagging any obvious gaps to the loan officer and/or loan processor, not a full underwriting or compliance review.
  • Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up with customers by phone or email to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
  • Provide general clerical and phone support for Frame Home Team loan officers and processors as needed.
  • Work with management to provide support across various stages of lending and processing as needed.
  • Assist in managing a pipeline consisting of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, along with 203K and reverse mortgage products.
  • Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to the borrower and retrieve proof of receipt.
  • Track outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to ensure timely receipt of necessary documentation.
  • Facilitate timely loan closings by working directly with the title company and customer to schedule, coordinating closely with the in-office team.
  • Support day-to-day office operations for the Issaquah location as needed.

Qualificationsand Skills:

  • High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact, preferred.
  • Sales support experience, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Position requires full-time on-site work at the Issaquah, WA office.
