Purchasing professionals, on the other hand, are responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring that the organization acquires quality goods or services at the best possible cost. Both roles require strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as they play a crucial part in a company's supply chain and overall profitability.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a sales and purchasing professional?
