Job description

Inside Sales Account Manager

Company: Restorative Industries

Location: Alexandria, TN (on-site)

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $19 to $23 per hour base, plus monthly book commission and quarterly bonus

Who We Are

Restorative Industries is a wood care company based in Alexandria, TN, home to a family of brands that includes Stain & Seal Supply, Expert Professional Wood Care, and Gopherwood, supplying contractors and pro partners across the country with premium staining and sealing products, tools, and support. The business has scaled quickly and is building out a dedicated inside sales team to keep pace with demand.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our growing inside sales team at our Alexandria, TN office. This is a hybrid role: you are both the voice on the phone for incoming customers and the owner of a book of pro partner accounts that is yours to grow.

Most of our sales come in by phone and email, so this seat has a real impact on revenue. You will build relationships with contractors, learn their business, and become the person they call when they need product. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable on the phone throughout the day, and driven by growing accounts over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound service and order capture: Answer incoming calls quickly and professionally, take orders accurately, and make sure every customer who calls is taken care of.
  • Account ownership: Own a defined book of pro partner accounts, with full credit for the revenue you grow within it.
  • Reactivation: Reach out to partners who have slowed down or gone quiet and get them ordering again.
  • Account growth: Help active partners order smarter and larger through the right products, bundles, and add-ons for their jobs.
  • New partner onboarding: Welcome new pro partners and set them up to succeed from their first order.
  • Recordkeeping: Keep clear, detailed notes and follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks.
Career Growth Path

This is a ground-floor seat on a team we are building out now. As the business grows, so does the opportunity: your book grows, your income grows with it, and early team members are positioned to take on more responsibility as we expand the inside sales department.

Required Qualifications
  • Sales, account management, inside sales, or customer success experience, ideally somewhere that rewarded you for growing accounts
  • Comfortable spending the majority of your day on the phone
  • Organized and accurate, because orders have to be right
  • Self-starter who fills downtime with outbound work rather than waiting for the phone to ring
  • Strong communicator who builds trust quickly
Preferred
  • Experience in a product, distribution, wholesale, or building-materials business
  • Comfort talking with contractors or trades customers
  • CRM proficiency and general comfort with basic technology tools
Compensation

Base pay of $19 to $23 per hour depending on experience, plus a monthly commission on the revenue in your book and a quarterly performance bonus. Realistic total pay lands around $55,000 to $65,000 in a normal year, with room into the $80,000s as your book grows. The more you grow your accounts, the more you earn.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Alexandria, TN.

Why Join Us

This is an early seat on a growing team. You own your accounts, your pay grows as your book grows, and there is room to take on more as the inside sales department expands.
