Job description

New Hampshire Print & Mail, a family-owned Print and Mail Shop, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our team. As a key part of our growing organization, you will have the opportunity to expand your career as we continually invest in new systems, machinery, and our staff.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in account management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to collaborate in a team-based work environment. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for serving as the primary contact for assigned customers, providing them with a positive and productive experience with every job.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, providing a positive and productive experience with every job

• Convert sales estimates into orders, and create new estimates where necessary

• Coordinate pick-ups of client materials and agree with the client on delivery dates to maintain production schedules

• Work with the Production Manager as needed to involve third-party subcontractors and perform materials purchasing to fulfill customer projects

• Coordinate with the Production Manager in setting all job schedules to ensure agreement on all due dates

• Print error-free work orders for processing on the shop floor and obtain signoffs on proofs from customers

• Lead and resolve issues that arise, and perform quality checks through all work areas

• Serve as internal liaison for approving job output at all stages in the production process

• Create draft customer invoices and associated backup for Accounting according to the completed specifications of each job’s estimates

• Provide complete and secure control over all customer records and company files as necessary

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, in particular, HIPAA and SOC II Type 2 audit purposes

• Attend all meetings relating to the company and the position, and support teammates as needed

• Serve in a mentoring role for training of new hires

• Perform the sales role in negotiating and pricing to conclude an estimate accepted by the customer for new business relationships without assigned sales staff.

• Work with the Leadership Team on identifying areas for process improvement and the documentation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Complete advanced training for industry certification as appropriate (i.e., Mail Design Professional/MDP)

• Assume a leading role in account profitability and ways to improve it

• Learn a production skill in case of emergency

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree or equivalent related work experience
  • Strong experience in account management, with at least 5-7 years of relevant work experience with progressive responsibility helpful
  • Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Excellent customer service aptitude in difficult customer circumstances
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products and Adobe creative suites
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
