About the Position

This position requires an individual to undertake a variety of administrative functions. In order to be successful, the candidate needs to bring administrative skills and experience, as well as a willingness to learn our processes and systems. It is also expected that the individual be a self- starter, personally well-organized/detailed, and willing to provide outstanding customer service and follow-up. 


What You'll Do

The following are some of duties and expectations for this position:


  • Enter jobs and services into computer
  • Assist salespeople with the day to day process
  • Help with handling complaints for the salespeople
  • Help with paperwork for returns
  • Assist Manager with developing tools and procedures to streamline work process
  • Be involved in product selections for the showroom
  • Be involved in growing customer base and develop relationships with prospective clients
  • Data entry
  • Record retention and organization
  • Following up on orders and claims
  • Keeping current on the wide selection of floors we have to offer along with the benefits and warranties provided by each.
  • Provide outstanding customer service. 
  • Working effectively with other store employees.
  • Receiving payment or obtain credit authorization.
  • Following up in a timely and professional manner with customers on all requests or concerns.
  • General office duties

Requirements

GREAT candidates for the Sales Assistant position will have:

  • Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and deliveries
