This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to manage your work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of a modern outpatient hospice center. The nature of hospice care requires a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with clients and their families who may be experiencing considerable distress. As an LCSW at Arrowhead Mental Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify patients' mental health needs, guiding the development of individualized treatment plans rooted in best practices.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Ensuring comprehensive and timely documentation of clinical records, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and provide holistic treatment options.
• Engaging in regular peer review meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and promote knowledge sharing among colleagues.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, promoting empowerment through knowledge.
• Staying informed of contemporary research and clinical practices to integrate the latest findings into your therapeutic approach.

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing terminal illness and their families. The focus will be on providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions that address both emotional and psychological needs. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, showcasing a strong academic foundation.
