At Arrowhead Mental Counseling Center, we offer a fulfilling full-time remote opportunity tailored for compassionate professionals like you. With a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, this role enables you to contribute to a mission-driven organization that prioritizes quality care and the well-being of our community.

About the Organization

Arrowhead Mental Counseling Center is a respected provider of mental health services committed to delivering exceptional care to our community in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. We establish an empowering environment focused on collaboration and support, allowing our team members to grow personally and professionally. Our organization is dedicated to evidence-based practices that drive effective therapeutic outcomes, and we pride ourselves on creating lasting changes in the lives of those we serve.

Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to manage your work from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of a modern outpatient hospice center. The nature of hospice care requires a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with clients and their families who may be experiencing considerable distress. Our clinical team comprises highly skilled mental health professionals, each dedicated to creating a supportive and collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Arrowhead Mental Counseling Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify patients' mental health needs, guiding the development of individualized treatment plans rooted in best practices.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
  • Ensuring comprehensive and timely documentation of clinical records, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and provide holistic treatment options.
  • Engaging in regular peer review meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical skills and promote knowledge sharing among colleagues.
  • Educating patients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, promoting empowerment through knowledge.
  • Staying informed of contemporary research and clinical practices to integrate the latest findings into your therapeutic approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing terminal illness and their families. The focus will be on providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions that address both emotional and psychological needs. Your expertise in navigating these sensitive cases will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for patients and providing essential support for families during difficult transitions.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, showcasing a strong academic foundation.
  • A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida, underscoring your commitment to meeting professional standards.
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience, specifically in delivering psychotherapy services, is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic interventions that facilitate client progress.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with clients and their families.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, enabling you to manage complex client situations effectively.
  • A collaborative spirit, with a proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within hospice or palliative care environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities will enhance your contributions to client care.
Compensation and Benefits

At Arrowhead Mental Counseling Center, we recognize and reward your expertise and hard work. The compensation package includes a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support the overall well-being of our team, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
