Job description

We are looking for a skilled Stibo Developer with hands-on experience in Stibo Systems STEP (Master Data Management / Product Information Management) platform. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining product data solutions that support business processes, data governance, and integration with enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and configure solutions on the Stibo STEP platform
  • Implement data modeling, workflows, and business rules within STEP
  • Customize STEP using JavaScript business rules and Java extensions (if applicable)
  • Build and maintain data integration pipelines with systems such as ERP, CRM, eCommerce, and DAM
  • Develop and manage inbound/outbound data feeds (ETL processes)
  • Work with stakeholders to define and implement data governance and data quality standards
  • Perform data migration, cleansing, and enrichment
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Stibo Systems STEP (PIM/MDM platform)
  • Good understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) concepts
  • Proficiency in:
    • JavaScript (for STEP business rules)
    • Java (preferred for customization/extensions)
  • Experience with data modeling, hierarchies, workflows, and classification systems
  • Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON
  • Experience with integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, or similar)
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in eCommerce or retail domain
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) integrations

Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000- $145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
