Job Summary: The Athletic Broadcast Producer assists with pre-production planning and live broadcast productions for SEC. Prepares graphics list for insert graphics in broadcast shows. Prepares pre-produced video content for broadcast shows. Prepares broadcast show rundowns and works with announcers to determine storylines for broadcast shows. Produces various live events in video control room. Utilizes understanding of live event production, control room etiquette and overall chain of command in a live environment.


Additional Department Summary: Completes pre-production planning and live broadcast productions for the SECN+ digital and SECN linear networks. Must be able to travel and work on weekends and holidays as necessary.


Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of broadcast or multimedia editing and/or production experience; OR master's degree and some broadcast or multimedia editing and/or production experience.


Skills and Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of all current video software and industry video equipment (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Evertz Dreamcatcher, Ross Xpression, etc.). Knowledge of production staffing and workflows.


Preferred Qualifications: Degree in communication, broadcast communication, telecommunication and film, journalism, graphic design, or related field. Sports production experience. Working knowledge of studio shows and live productions.
