Job description

Job Role: IAM / Okta Engineer

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Duration: 6+ Months / Extention
 

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage Okta for SSO, MFA, and lifecycle automation
  • Integrate Okta with internal and third-party applications via SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and API
  • Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows
  • Ensure high availability and security of the IAM environment
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to implement IAM best practices
  • Support audits, compliance, and reporting requirements
  • Troubleshoot IAM-related issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance

Required Skills:

  • 5 – 10+ years of experience in IAM domain, with a focus on Okta
  • Strong knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
  • Experience integrating Okta with cloud apps (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Okta Workflows, Universal Directory, and Lifecycle Management
  • Familiarity with API integrations and scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP / Azure AD
  • Experience with MFA policies and security best practices

Nice to Have:

  • Okta Certified Professional or Architect certification
  • Experience with ID Governance tools (SailPoint, Saviynt)
