Sagebrush Medical Clinic is searching for a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist to join our full-time team. In this impactful role, you will work directly with patients in an outpatient office setting to assist them in their rehabilitation journey following injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The Occupational Therapist will work onsite in our outpatient office, where a close-knit team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, nurses, and administrative staff, collaborates to deliver exceptional care. Your weekly schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance while actively engaging with patients. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial capabilities to identify their functional limitations. This involves using standardized evaluation tools and methodologies to gather comprehensive data.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, patient goals, and verbal recommendations from physicians, ensuring personalized care for every patient.
• Administer specialized occupational therapy interventions, which may include therapeutic exercises tailored to patient needs, activities of daily living (ADL) training, cognitive enhancement techniques, and necessary environmental modifications to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly track and document patient progress in an organized manner, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Stay informed on the latest developments and best practices in the field of occupational therapy, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and policies.

At Sagebrush Medical Clinic, you will primarily engage with adult patients recovering from various conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke recovery, and chronic illness management. We prioritize creating customized interventions that address the unique challenges faced by each patient, promoting recovery paths that focus on functionality and return to everyday activities.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current occupational therapist license in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in an outpatient or skilled nursing facility.
• Proficient in managing electronic medical records and using healthcare software for documentation and tracking patient care.
• Familiarity with the latest occupational therapy practices and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Hands-on experience working with a diverse patient population in outpatient facilities.
• Advanced knowledge in specific therapeutic techniques, such as sensory integration therapy or trauma-informed care.
• Experience in interdisciplinary team settings to collaboratively advance patient care goals.

The Occupational Therapist role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
