About the role:

Work with a team of engineers to support the hardware design and delivery of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) cabinets and associated electro-mechanical hardware components and subassemblies. Ensure that hardware designs and project documentation meet applicable system & quality requirements. Work closely with manufacturing operations to resolve issues, provide oversight, and ensure products are in accordance with build-to-print drawing packages and specifications.

You will report to the Manager, Common Q and CE Safety Systems •Safety & Reactor Systems Engineering and be Hybrid at the Warrendale, PA facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Issue drawings, bill of materials and technical specifications for I&C Safety System products.
  • Compile technical and quality documentation for procurement, testing and manufacturing of Safety System hardware products.
  • Develop engineered solutions and part change evaluations to address obsolescence issues for several electrical products
  • Communicate with suppliers or manufacturing facilities to support technical issue resolution.
  • Help develop equipment qualification test procedures during testing, evaluate test results and review final reports
  • Provide engineering support to customers, suppliers, manufacturing, and shop operations for a variety of products
  • Perform engineering calculations to support design or analysis of products.
  • Build assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in an Electrical Engineering or related technical field is required, along with a minimum of 0-3 years of engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design.
  • Awareness of field devices and control devices typical to the power industry.
  • Awareness of typical industry standard drawings including schematics, cabinet drawings and panel layouts.
  • Experience in AutoCAD/3D Modeling software
  • As part of a team including engineering, testing, manufacturing, supply chain management, and suppliers

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
