Job description

A leading industrial agribusiness operation is looking to add an EHS Manager to its site in western Kansas. This person will be tasked with driving compliance, reducing risk, and embedding continuous improvement across all levels of the operation. Itโ€™s a strong opportunity to take ownership of site-level EHS strategy in a growing, forward-looking business.


The Role

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-wide health, safety, and environmental programs.
  • Partner closely with operations and engineering leadership to promote a preventative, incident-free safety culture.
  • Conduct risk assessments, compliance audits, and applicability reviews to ensure alignment with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Oversee environmental compliance activities, including permit monitoring, testing, and follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Serve as the siteโ€™s technical EHS expert, supporting incident investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, and process safety initiatives.


The Candidate

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred
  • 5+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, with hands-on compliance experience.
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, and operate effectively in a fast-paced setting.
