THE POSITION
As a Senior Program Manager in the Anthem Program, you will play a crucial role in guiding and overseeing the successful execution of programs for the Anthem Next Generation Avionics. You will be accountable for managing and delivering on complex programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and driving program performance. Your strong guiding skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive results will be essential in contributing to the success of Honeywell Aerospace's customer programs.
You will report to the Anthem Program Director and you'll work out of our Honeywell Aerospace Technologies location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the software development lifecycle for the Anthem program and its load maturity, internal and external problem reporting and resolution, and overall software maturity. You will provide strategic direction, drive program execution, guide teams, ensure quality assurance, timely delivery, issue resolution, data accuracy, reporting, cost management, cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, risk management, mentoring and development, innovation, compliance, and program excellence. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution and enhancement of programs, which, in turn, can contribute to the organization's overall success and performance-driven in the market
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Guide and oversee the execution of complex program
  • Develop and implement software metrics reviews and load improvement actions
  • Ensure the seamless transition of software maturity from development to formalization
  • Manage and deliver programs within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Ensure alignment of programs with strategic objectives
  • Identify and mitigate program risks and issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure program success
  • Provide guidance to engineering execution teams driving alignment with software quality

Qualifications
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management or related roles
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience managing complex customer programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of program management ethics and methodologies
