Job description

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a confidential manufacturing client to hire a Safety Specialist in the Marston, MO area. 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing audits and reporting the effectiveness of the system safety program.
  • Supporting streamlined operations and the development of new processes and protocol to ensure that all internal goals for safety, mission success, and performance are met.
  • Developing implementation schedules and managing budgets for improvements.
  • Briefing safety of the program at technical reviews and as part of the safety approval process.
  • This position may include launch campaign support at remote launch sites both domestic and international.
  • Exercises latitude in determine technical objectives of assignments, and make decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
  • Conduction incident investigations, determining root causes, driving corrective actions.
  • Selecting appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
  • Working with test and tactical operating and maintenance procedures to assure the proper administrative controls are in place.
  • Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls.
  • Implementing occupational safety programs and serve as EHS interface with business units.

This position offers:

  • A base pay rate of $29/hr.
