Job Summary

This Safety Program Assistant will support the Mesa Energy Systems Safety Team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Timely and accurate data entry for a variety of reports and reporting systems (including maintaining contact information in web-based systems) Ensure all work-related incidents / accidents are added to company's system and files., Update and maintain all Environmental, Safety and Training documentation (electronic and hard copies) Maintain and expedite the communication of training deadline dates to ensure management receives information from direct reports to enable deadlines to be met in a timely manner. Assist with safety training system including updating training materials and maintaining and updating training records. Provide backup support for Learning Management System administrator. Coordinate all the Safety Team Meetings. Document minutes, attendance and keep postings up to date. Facilitate communication between all Branches, departments and employees concerning safety issues. Update, maintain, and track internal safety-related statistics. Perform general office duties and other related EHS duties as assigned. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and other rules and regulations pertaining to operations as necessary.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or equivalent experience. 2+ years of office experience with Microsoft office Experience in a multi-department administrative support role preferred Experience in administrative support with particular emphasis on organizing and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in administrative skills, including word processing; editing documents including proofreading, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, accuracy, clarity and syntax, attention to detail and format; filing and record keeping. Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and assume responsibility for department projects and action items from inception to completion. Comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Products - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range: $28 - $32 per hour
