Safety Manager


As a Safety Manager, youโ€™ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority โ€” itโ€™s a core value. Youโ€™ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.

HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe.

  • Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
  • Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

  • Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
  • Degree in a safety related field preferred
  • OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
  • CHST or CSP preferred
  • Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required 
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
