Job Title: Senior Operations ManagerJob Description
Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple value streams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and financial objectives. Collaborate with various departments to improve overall site performance and develop operational strategies that enhance productivity, efficiency, throughput, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, HR, Customer Service, and Safety to improve site performance.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, engagement, talent development, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and mentor Value Stream Managers, building succession plans and leadership pipelines.
  • Implement and lead Lean initiatives, Kaizen, and operational excellence programs.
  • Utilize data analysis and operational metrics to identify opportunities and solve complex problems.
  • Ensure operational goals are achieved while maintaining strong customer service, product quality, and delivery performance.
  • Lead performance management efforts and provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for leaders.
Essential Skills
  • 7+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
  • Experience in managing large manufacturing teams through multiple layers of leadership.
  • Proven experience in developing leaders, succession planning, and talent pipelines.
  • Strong performance management experience, including coaching underperforming leaders and employees.
  • Experience in aerospace, semiconductor, or other complex manufacturing environments.

Work Environment
Working hours are typically 5am-5pm, with the expectation of 50-60 hours per week. Most leaders work Monday-Thursday, often around four 12-hour days, with occasional Friday support when needed. The role includes limited after-hours or weekend escalations compared to some manufacturing environments. The team consists of 3 Value Stream Managers and approximately 180 production employees.
