Job description

Join our team at McShea Contracting as an Experienced Laborer/Operator-NIGHTS (Pavement Marking) in Wellington, FL. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our night crew and contribute to our pavement marking operations.
As an Experienced Laborer/Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining pavement marking equipment, applying paint and thermoplastic materials, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of pavement markings. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate pavement marking equipment such as stripers, pre-markers, and grinders
- Apply paint and thermoplastic materials to pavement surfaces
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of pavement markings
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- Work collaboratively with the night crew to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pavement marking or similar field
- Ability to operate and maintain pavement marking equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a night shift environment
- Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
This is a full-time hourly position with night shift hours
