Job description

Position: QA Foremanย 
Reports To: MC - QA Superintendent

ย 
POSITION SUMMARY ย 
Directly supervise, manage, and coordinate activities of electricians, apprentices,ย 
helpers, and temporary workers. ย 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ย 
Lead by exampleย 
Overlook the crew and direct work in logical steps and budget time required to meetย 
deadlines and coordinate with Superintendent and other trades Foreman's, to ensureย 
compliance with overall project schedule.ย 
Supervise, coordinate, and assign the activities of electrician, apprentices, helpers andย 
temp workersย 
Training and Developmentย 
Assist Superintendent with review process for both Adams employees and associates ย 
Work on improving computers and iPad skillsย 
Continue educationย 
Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures,ย 
and company policies. ย 
Read specifications and blueprints to plan procedures and determine constructionย 
requirements ย 
Scheduling ย ย 
Work with Superintendent on maintaining schedule related to current project ย 
Interpret and truck project schedule to provide two - week look ahead and forecastย 
manpower requirements based on the project goals and schedule.ย 
Material Management / Jobsite logisticsย 
Oversite and work with Superintendent on creating and maintaining materialย 
management related to current projectย 
ย Work with Superintendent to maintain material and jobsite logistic plan ย ย 
Prepare material on time ย  ย 

Safetyย 

  • Work with Superintendent and other Foreman's to create and maintain Safety planย 
    related to current projectย 
    Work with onsite Safety manager to develop safety plan for each taskย 
    Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and constriction sites to verify safetyย 
    and to ensure that specifications are met.ย 
    ย Prepare and provide documents such as Jobsite Safety Analysis, Jobsite Hazardย 
    Analysis, and safety reportsย 


Quality Controlย 
Work with onsite QA/QC Manager to develop the QA/QC plan for each taskย 
Work with QA/QC Manager to resolve all QA/QC issues in timely mannerย 
Make sure all work is installed on time and quality of installation meet Adams Electricย 
Company standardsย 

BIM / Designย 
Assist Superintendent to lead layout efforts for BIM prior to the projectย 
Together with Superintendent review drawings throughout process to ensure qualityย 
controlย 
Develop open communication with BIM department and feel free to share ideas withย 
BIM departmentย 
Pre - Fabricationย 
Oversite and maintain pre - fabrication plan for current projectย 
Work with Superintendent on managing installation scheduleย 
Share ideas with pre - fabrication foreman ย 
Get creativeย 


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS ย 
Education, Training and Certifications ย 
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (G.E.D) ย 
OSHA 30ย 
Licensure as an electrician OR 4-10 years related experience or equivalent knowledgeย 
and experienceย 

Working Conditionsย 
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (Hard hat, vest, protectiveย 
eyewear, safety boots.) ย 
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, often exposed to the natural elements ofย 
cold, heat, moisture, and wind. ย 
Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis.ย 
Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements andย 
background screening process.
