Aviation Safety Compliance Manager
HHS Aviation is currently seeking a Manager for Safety Compliance. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring safety, security, and operational compliance with regulatory entities, customer requirements, and company standards. The manager will continuously assess and improve hazard identification and adherence to regulatory requirements and HHS Aviation company procedures, promoting a positive safety, security, and quality-focused culture while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
The Safety Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring safety / OSHA compliance, security guidelines and directives, and compliance with all pertinent customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Safety Focus and Regulatory Compliance in all HHS Aviation operations

  • Implement new strategies to continuously improve the HHS Aviation safety and quality culture

  • Assist with new station operations start-ups and ensure adherence to company, customer, and regulatory requirements

  • Monitor the safety of all operations through audits, self-inspection, safety performance indicators, and compliance reports. Make recommendations for improvement as necessary/appropriate

  • Communicate with executive leadership regarding potential compliance challenges and opportunities for continuous operational improvements

  • Conduct incident investigations and risk assessments, provide process improvement recommendations, and facilitate risk-based decisions to ensure safe and compliant operations

  • Perform station assessments and develop corrective action plans as needed

  • Identify potential hazards. Establish and manage risk assessments.

  • Conduct training compliance review for all HHS Aviation locations, report non-compliance, and develop/monitor corrective actions

  • Provide executive leaders with safety reports that cover trends, issues, and escalations needed to track safety, security, and other compliance matters.

  • Identify and resolve safety and compliance issues in a timely manner with professionalism

  • Knowledge of applicable FAA and OSHA regulations

  • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and ordering platforms

  • Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
