Are you a college Sophomore, Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an engineering program? Are you looking to get your foot in the door with one of the world's leading manufacturers? NORPAC in Longview, WA is offering internships to students in engineering and related fields. The program is designed to give students a valuable learning experience and expose them to different groups and concepts. You will work with an individualized performance plan and a personal sponsor. You will also be given ample feedback on your performance while having the opportunity to give feedback on ways to enhance the program.

Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be obtaining a degree in Pulp and Paper Science, Bio-Resource Science, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum sophomore year standing, strong preference given to students with a cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Include a listing of completed classes and current GPA on your resume.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
  • Looking for a minimum 6-month commitment with one intern beginning in Fall of 2026 and another intern beginning in January 2027.

Necessary Skills:

We are looking for students with integrity, academic achievement, technical ability and aptitude, commitment to continuous learning, initiative and self-motivation, teamwork ability, communication skills, problem solving abilities, and flexibility.

This is a safety sensitive position. 

Compensation:

Annual salary range for this position is $25.25 to $29.64 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
