More than 2,500 team members at more than 70 Tidelands Health locations bring our healing mission to life each day. **A Brief Overview** The Director of Safety, Security, and Emergency Management provides oversight of hospital operations related to waste management, fire protection and prevention, internal and external disaster response, and the security program. Responsibilities include the development and management of the human and financial resources necessary to support these program areas. The role directs and oversees the activities of supervisory personnel, security officers, drivers, and parking attendants, as applicable. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures, standards, and policies related to safety, security, parking, and visitor control. The Director coordinates system safety committees, disaster preparedness committees, and associated resources to ensure organizational readiness and compliance.
