Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA is seeking a Product Safety & Regulatory Compliance Engineer (P3) to support product safety and regulatory compliance activities for semiconductor equipment within a product division.
This role focuses on execution of safety assessments, regulatory compliance, and certification activities, ensuring tools meet applicable SEMI standards, CE marking requirements, and global regulations.
The engineer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate safety into product design and support certification efforts from development through release.

Product Safety Compliance & Certification Support
โ€ข Support tool certification activities for assigned products.
โ€ข Assist in ensuring compliance with:
โ€ข SEMI S2, S8, S10
โ€ข IEC 60204-1 / NFPA 79
โ€ข EU Machinery Regulation / Machinery Directive
โ€ข EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), Low Voltage Directive
โ€ข Contribute to CE marking documentation, including:
โ€ข Risk assessments
โ€ข Technical file inputs
โ€ข Declaration of Conformity support

Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment
โ€ข Perform hazard analyses using established methods:

Minimum Requirements

Base Pay Range: $136,300.00 - $231,700.00 Annually
