Job description

The Ride Operator will be responsible for providing great guest service by appropriately interacting with all guests and by operating Pacific Park's rides in a safe and responsible manner. The Ride Operator will also work alongside all Pacific Park employees to maintain a safe and friendly culture while following the directions of Park Management.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Must be safety oriented by following all safety rules and procedures at all times
  • Ability to operate rides in a safe manner
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment on a daily basis
  • Follow tasks as assigned by the Lead, Supervisor, Operations Management Team or as stated in the employee handbook
  • Assist guests in and out of ride units in a safe, efficient and courteous manner
  • Operate all ride control systems and devices
  • Comply with all safety and fire responsibilities, policies and procedures
  • Greet guests and employees in a professional, friendly manner
  • The ability to bend, climb stairs and move around while helping guests in and out of ride units

The Ride Operator will consistently maintain a high level of customer service and treat the safety of guests and fellow employees as their number one priority at all times. The Ride Operator is responsible for overseeing the safety of guests using ride units, and must always act in a safe and professional manner.The Ride Operator will always follow the direction of Park Management and will abide by the rules set forth in the employee handbook at all times. The Ride Operator serves as an ambassador of the Park while on duty, and must always act in the best interest of Pacific Park.

  • Ideal candidates are Team players, self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work quickly and concisely while under pressure.
  • Must be able to be a quick learner.
