The company pioneered the development of Stall Warning and Angle of Attack, Automatic Throttle Systems, Wind Shear Warning, and many other innovations in aircraft instrumentation, flight performance, and control systems for fixed and rotary winged aircraft. With product installed on over two-thirds of the world’s aircraft, Safe Flight counts among its customers the majority of the world’s aircraft manufacturers, more than 50 airlines, hundreds of operators of corporate jet aircraft and U.S. and International Armed Services.

Safe Flight’s benefits include employer-funded health care, on-site lunch program, 401K contribution, Wellness and Education Reimbursement, paid-time off and sick time, and various other programs. This position is temporary with the possibility of permanent based on performance.

Position: Temporary- Part Time Facility Maintenance Worker- may transition to permanent based on performance and business needs.

Full-Time: Hours from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. Onsite Monday through Friday

Hourly rate: $18/hour 20-30 hours per week

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a high standard of hygiene in the cafeteria area, including tables, chairs, countertops, and kitchen equipment. Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
  • Regularly empty and dispose of trash and recycling bins. Ensure proper disposal and adherence to waste management protocols.
  • Monitor and report any malfunctioning kitchen equipment, appliances, or fixtures.
  • Keep track of cafeteria supplies such as napkins, utensils, and cleaning materials. Restock as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Required to interact with coworkers and all other departments in a professional manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a cafeteria or food service setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs when needed.

Education and Experience:

  • At least two years’ related experience required.
