About the Role

As a Consultant Lead supporting the Safe Deposit Box System, Customer Information System (CIS), and Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) System, you will lead complex data conversion and implementation initiatives that enable successful client transitions to Integrated Banking Systems (IBS). You will provide strategic direction for data mapping, conversion planning, validation, testing, and operational readiness while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders. This role requires deep expertise in banking operations, data migration methodologies, and implementation consulting to manage risk, drive quality, and ensure successful outcomes. Success is measured through conversion accuracy, implementation effectiveness, client satisfaction, operational readiness, and delivery of business objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end data conversion and implementation activities for complex CIS, Safe Deposit Box, and CTR system projects.
  • Develop and oversee conversion strategies, ensuring accurate data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration outcomes.
  • Analyze customer data structures, workflows, and operational requirements to identify risks and deliver effective conversion solutions.
  • Create, review, and approve detailed field-to-field mapping documentation, conversion specifications, and implementation deliverables.
  • Partner with clients, technical teams, and project stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Drive testing, readiness reviews, and operational preparedness initiatives to ensure successful implementations.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for conversion-related issues, providing leadership in troubleshooting and solution development.
  • Configure and validate customer-specific processing parameters while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor consultants and provide subject matter expertise to support knowledge sharing, capability development, and delivery excellence.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance conversion quality, efficiency, customer experience, and project outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically, 5+ years of experience in banking operations, financial technology or related financial services environments.
  • Experience performing data conversions, including data mapping, data validation, consulting, reconciliation, and other related conversion activities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing projects and managing multiple implementation workstreams simultaneously.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data structures and business processes.
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications, conversion strategies, and technical solutions.
  • Excellent customer relationship management, communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, drive issue resolution, and deliver successful implementation outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience within banking, financial services, or fintech environments.
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services, particularly Integrated Banking Systems (IBS), Customer Information Systems, Safe Deposit Box systems, and Currency Transaction Reporting solutions.
  • Experience leading large-scale banking data conversion or core banking implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory reporting requirements, data governance, and conversion best practices.
  • Experience mentoring team members, leading process improvement initiatives, and supporting organizational change efforts.
