WHAT WE DO:
We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, Budgeting & Reporting Consultant
Location: Irving, TX (Onsite 3 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Client: Public Utility Client
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder Required
Position Overview
Our Public Utility Client is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning, Budgeting & Reporting Consultant to support enterprise planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting initiatives. This consultant will work closely with finance, business, and technology stakeholders to design, configure, enhance, and support SAC Planning solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, financial planning and analysis processes, reporting development, forecasting, budgeting, and dashboard creation. Experience supporting utility industry organizations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and support SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into SAC solutions.
  • Develop and maintain planning models, dimensions, calculations, allocations, data actions, and business rules within SAC.
  • Create executive dashboards, scorecards, reports, and visualizations to support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Support budget cycles, forecasting activities, variance analysis, and financial reporting processes.
  • Integrate SAC with SAP and non-SAP data sources to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and SAC optimization opportunities.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Document business requirements, technical specifications, and solution designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of planning and reporting initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
  • Experience implementing and supporting SAC Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting solutions.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
  • Experience developing SAC models, stories, dashboards, calculations, and planning applications.
  • Experience with data integration and data management within SAC environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions and working directly with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the utility, energy, or regulated industry sectors.
  • Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW, or SAP Datasphere.
  • Knowledge of financial consolidation and enterprise performance management processes.
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting cycles for large enterprise organizations.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud certification preferred.
Required Work Arrangement
  • Onsite in Irving, TX three days per week:
    • Monday
    • Tuesday
    • Thursday
  • Remote Wednesday and Friday.
  • Ability to work with business and technology stakeholders throughout the engagement.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.

Pay rate: $75-$85hr based on experience
