As a Physical Therapist at Saber Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for:

• Evaluating and diagnosing patients' needs through comprehensive assessments, including functional capacity evaluations and diagnostic tests on muscles, joints, and motor functions.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes, in line with physician directives.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure effective execution of treatments and adherence to care plans.
• Administering therapeutic exercises and physical modalities, providing hands-on therapy, and instructing patients in exercises and activities that enhance recovery.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, including creating initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries that outline each patient's journey.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, participating in case conferences to promote comprehensive patient care strategies.
• Educating patients and their families about therapy protocols, device usage, and ongoing care to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.

Your role will involve working primarily with adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Your expertise will enable you to cater to each patient's unique needs, leading to improved physical function and a better quality of life. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license in good standing.
• CPR certification and a valid driver’s license with automobile insurance to facilitate travel to patient locations as needed.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in an outpatient setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic and post-surgical rehabilitation.
• Background in utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques and tools commonly used in the outpatient care environment.
• A track record of working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team.
