Job Description

ย 

The Senior Project Manager role entails the management of EDI and SaaS implementations.ย  To succeed, the Project Manager must have substantial client facing experience, demonstrated a high level of success in delivering large scale multi-million dollar projects, and have experience in working closely with clients to build an effective partnership.

Senior Project Manager Required Skills, Experience, Knowledge:

  • 10 - 15 years of ย ย ย ย  Project/Program Management experience preferred
  • Experience ย ย ย ย  running large projects (5-10 resources, 12+ months, $500k - $2m+)-global ย ย ย ย  project management experience a plus
  • 5 - 10 years of ย ย ย ย  EDI Solutions/Applications delivery experience preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of ย ย ย ย  Customer/Client Facing experience preferred
  • Experience ย ย ย ย  managing delivery using the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Dynamic Problem ย ย ย ย  Solver with customer focus
  • Ability to ย ย ย ย  motivate a team to meet tight project timelines
  • Fluent with ย ย ย ย  Microsoft Project & Project Task planning & dependencies.
  • Supervisory ย ย ย ย  experience (managing PM's & other resources)
  • Deep experience ย ย ย ย  in project status & financial reporting.
  • Must have very ย ย ย ย  strong interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to partner ย ย ย ย  with others, and be able manage complex relationships
  • Experience with ย ย ย ย  the Six-Sigma Process or similar methodologies

Senior Project Manager Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing to a ย ย ย ย  structured project management process/methodology by developing and ย ย ย ย  implementing documentation for all project phases
  • Improve ย ย ย ย  effectives of the project and efficiently meet and manage client ย ย ย ย  objectives and expectations
  • Manage to a ย ย ย ย  defined project budget
  • Outlineย  ย ย ย ย  top down and bottom up deliverables and acceptance criteria; beginning ย ย ย ย  with the ultimate output of the project and working into the details to ย ย ย ย  see how to produce the most effective output for the client and or ย ย ย ย  organization
