Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Rate of Pay: Full time - $38-$53 an hour. Rate of pay is based on years of experience.
PRN - $53-$60 an hour. Rate of pay is based on years of experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Aviata at Fletcher in Tampa, Florida. Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer evaluations and examinations to diagnose and develop treatment plans for our residents
  • Refer clients to additional medical or educational services if needed
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Provide communication instruction to residents with limited English proficiency
  • Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients
  • Observe and assess the progress and prepare detailed reports
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, or standards
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited SLP Program
  • Current SLP License for the State of Florida
  • Experience in long-term care settings preferred
