Job Summary:
Are you a skilled technician with expertise servicing Ryko, PDQ, and/or car wash equipment? Join our dynamic team as a Car Wash Maintenance Technician, where you'll ensure the safe and efficient operation of car wash systems through inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. As a Car Wash Maintenance Technician, you will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on car wash equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. You will play a critical role in maintaining system reliability and enhancing the customer experience. This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour work week with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventative, and maintenance on car wash equipment, including Ryko, Autec, PDQ systems, and Unitec C-Start payment systems.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment issues, leveraging advanced troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with the Car Wash Maintenance Manager and team to identify and address recurring technical issues, contributing to long-term equipment reliability.
  • Support the implementation of special projects and upgrades designed to enhance system performance and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs through asset-based work order and inventory management systems. Ability to photo document within systems is key.
  • Take part in on-the-job and external training courses as required.
  • Flexibility to work on-call shifts and accommodate occasional travel needs.
  • Other duties assigned.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to resolve complex equipment issues.
  • Actively engages internal and external support resources when proper troubleshooting has been exhausted.

Education and Continuous Training Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced certifications in Ryko, PDQ, and or Autec car wash equipment maintenance are a plus.
  • Proven experience in use of relevant car wash equipment diagnostic software and tools.
  • Active participation in safety training programs and compliance with all internal and external safety regulations.
  • Professional development opportunities, including technical certifications based on merit and time in service.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • May regularly stand, climb, and walk on uneven ground while performing maintenance work.
  • May regularly perform maintenance work in hot, cold, or unpleasant environmental conditions. including industrial wastes, or other chemical and physical hazards such as petroleum based hazardous materials.
  • The ability to make inspections, observe conditions, read labels, observe colors, and read written reports on computer monitor.
  • May regularly lift, push, pull and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
