Central Veterinary Hospital is seeking two Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our growing team. These roles will primarily support dental and surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia, monitoring, recovery, and dental radiography. 

ScheduleTo support work-life balance, we offer 4x10 schedules with openings for:
  • Monday-Thursday from 8:30am - 7:00pm (Surgical Lead - Level 3 RVT required)
  • Monday-Thursday from 8:00am - 6:30pm
RVT Level 2 - $34–$37/hour

Level 2 RVTs perform advanced nursing and technical procedures with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia for routine and moderately complex procedures
  • Perform dental prophylaxis and obtain full-mouth dental radiographs
  • Independently perform venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and prescribed treatments
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for dental and surgical procedures
  • Recognize patient changes and troubleshoot anesthesia and recovery concerns
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and hospitalized patient care
  • Manage accurate medical records using Instinct EMR
  • Provide client education and help train Veterinary Assistants and newer RVTs
  • Active California RVT license in good standing required
  • At least 2 years of experience as an RVT required
RVT Level 3 - $38–$40/hour

Level 3 RVTs are senior technical team members who provide advanced patient care while serving as clinical resources and mentors.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • Advanced proficiency in anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and patient care
  • Manage complex anesthesia cases and high-risk patients in collaboration with veterinarians
  • Serve as a technical resource for anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, laboratory procedures, and patient nursing
  • Help coordinate dental, surgical, and daily patient-care workflows
  • Manage accurate and complete medical records using Instinct EMR
  • Lead training and onboarding for Veterinary Assistants and RVTs
  • Help develop and reinforce clinical protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Support technical team development and model excellent communication, accountability, and patient care
  • Active California RVT license in good standing required
  • At least 5 years of experience as an RVT required

All responsibilities must be performed in accordance with California Veterinary Medical Board regulations.
