Overview
The Hospitality Host serves as the first point of contact for all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents, and prospective buyers entering the resort. This role is responsible for warmly greeting guests, directing them to their appropriate destinations, and collecting necessary information from all non-resident visitors. Additionally, the Hospitality Host distributes promotional materials to prospective guests and residents, contributing to a welcoming and informative guest experience. A strong emphasis is placed on professionalism, customer service, and maintaining a positive first impression of the resort.
Job Duties
  • Greets all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents, and prospective buyers, directing them to their destinations (Essential)
  • Obtains name, license plate number, phone number, and email address of each non-residential/guest entering the community/resort. Forwards information obtained to the sales office for follow-up within 24 hours (if applicable) (Essential)
  • Greets and registers late arriving RVs, if applicable. Escorts late arriving RVs to the appropriate site (Essential)
  • On a nightly basis, checks all buildings, turns-off lights, and locks doors and gates as directed. Monitors the community/resort, noting any deficiencies (i.e. broken lights, missing signs, etc.). Noting occurrences/observations within the community (Essential)
  • Notes all unusual occurrences on the daily log sheets (Essential)
  • Hands-out promotional material to prospective guests and residents
  • Answers the telephone courteously and records pre-call visitor information appropriately. Prepares pre-call sheets for the following day
  • Submits maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer and water break problems as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to read maps
  • Must have a valid driver's license
