We are Haley Automotive Group, located in central Virginia – Virginia’s oldest Automotive Group! We have a total of 11 stores between Richmond, Roanoke and Farmville. Due to accelerated growth in our service business, we are currently adding multiple body shop technicians as well as painters in 3 of our Richmond stores – our Ford, Buick GMC Midlothian Turnpike and Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Center locations.

We love certified candidates with iCAR certifications. None of our body shops are open on weekends. We pay based on experience and are also offering high/negotiable signing and retention bonuses for the right candidates.

Job Duties:

  • Damage Assessment: Evaluate the extent of damage to a vehicle's body after an accident or other incidents.
  • Repair Techniques: Employ various techniques to repair damaged panels, including straightening, welding, and filling.
  • Panel Replacement: Replace damaged or rusted panels with new ones.
  • Rust Removal: Remove rust and corrosion from vehicle bodies.
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and applying filler.
  • Painting: Apply paint and clear coat to vehicle bodies, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Finishing Touches: Polish and buff the vehicle to restore its shine.
  • Customization: Some technicians also work on customizing vehicles by adding aftermarket parts or modifying existing ones.
  • Working with Car Lights and Windows: Some technicians also work with car lights and windows.
