Acclaim Technical Services, founded in 2000, is a leading language and intelligence services company supporting a wide range of U.S. Federal agencies. We are an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, which is uncommon within our business sector. We are actively hiring a HLT Specialist with Russian and a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Intelligence Division working on Human Language Translation in Northern Virginia.

***Must have Russian or Ukrainian

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of cloud environments for HLT tool deployment.
  • Improves artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) tools and other applications in the client's work environment, such as machine translation, speech or text recognition, input methods, keyboard/swipe technology, advancing searching, and other areas of human-machine interactions related to languages.
  • Provide Project-based technical support.
  • Facilitate unit- and enterprise-wide technology rollouts.
  • Train machine learning (ML) models for the creation of MT and natural language processing (NLP) models
  • Assist with troubleshooting foreign language content issues related to triage, translation, transcription, interpretation, and localization.
  • Validate new features in CAT Tool Translation Memory (TM) Servers and HLT tools.
  • Manage Translation Memories (TM)
  • Identify commercial tools for employment.
  • Automate file analysis, parsing, and filtering
  • Write scripts and/or macros in various program languages to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Prepare file types for localization process (including re-coding and script writing).
  • Provide estimates on projects.
  • Work closely with technology providers to:
  • Collect requirements from stakeholders and users.
  • Provide documentation and training to users
  • Define new features and improvement to Software Products
  • Provider test cases for Quality Assurance (QA)
  • Report and test fixes for bugs found by users

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent (four (4) or more years of on-the-job experience in the HLT field)
  • Language Required: Russian Journeyman Level
  • Years of Experience: Four (4) Years
  • Must be a certified AWS cloud engineer.
