Job description

Position Description:
We are seeking a qualified LAW ENFORCEMENT / IMESA (Identify Matching Engine for Security and Analysis) SUPPORT SME (assigned to Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Russell- Knox Building, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA.) The contractor shall provide Law Enforcement action officer support to the Counterintelligence & Security Directorate.

Active TS/SCI 

Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:

  • Supports the review, analysis, development and implementation of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service Multiple Threat Alert Center (MTAC) function for the DoW in managing known or suspected terrorist encounter information in support of the following references:
    • IMESA TSDB Alert Development and Monitoring Business Requirements. 
  • On a daily basis provide senior level advice to support the DoD physical security program, personnel security program, insider threat program and maintenance of law and order on DoW installations. 
  • On a daily basis, interface with law enforcement counterparts, military criminal investigative organizations, the defense manpower data center, and terrorist screening center on NCIS MTAC issues pertaining to the development and monitoring of terrorist screening database alerts. 
  • Manage all takings assigned by MTAC leadership to support the Identify Matching Engine for Security and Analysis (IMESA.
  •  Attend weekly meetings and prepare meeting summary reports.

Minimum Qualifications Including Certificates: 

  • Bachelor's degree from in an accredited college or university. 
  • Ten (10) yeas of demonstrated experience in DoW, Military Department or counterterrorism matters.
  • Five (5) years of experience using LE and Intelligence Community (IC) databases to assess derogatory information on DoW affiliated and local population persons.
  • Five (5) years of experience using web applications to review and recommend action on the Terrorist Screening Database Alerts and to determine if the alert will be pushed to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
