Rush Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role. In this role, you will:

• Provide direct clinical services to a caseload of clients dealing with severe emotional disorders and major mental illnesses through telehealth and virtual meetings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and strengths, and create individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Implement integrated care strategies that include communication with family members and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize various therapeutic frameworks, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to conduct individual and group therapy sessions effectively.
• Facilitate crisis interventions; respond promptly to client needs and emergencies with appropriate strategies and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate on case reviews to enhance treatment outcomes and share best practices.
• Monitor client progress regularly to adjust treatment plans as necessary and ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by participating in agency committees aimed at refining service delivery models.
• Complete documentation and reports timely to meet organizational standards and maintain communication across team members.

The LCSW will primarily work with a diverse population of clients who are grappling with varying degrees of mental health issues, including serious mental illnesses and significant emotional challenges. Our focus is on understanding their unique circumstances and fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and resilience. You will also engage with families to educate them about the mental health challenges their loved ones face, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically working with mental health populations.
• Strong competence in therapeutic techniques and an understanding of mental health laws and ethical standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively, while also being a proactive team player.

Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings is desirable, as it equips candidates with the unique skills necessary to address complex emotional and psychosocial needs within end-of-life care context. Familiarity with community resources and services that can support client referrals and enhance treatment options will also be beneficial.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
