We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to support a busy healthcare office in Delaware. This onsite contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who is comfortable with technology, takes initiative, and enjoys helping patients through each step of their visit. The person in this role will contribute to a welcoming Front-office experience by managing scheduling, registration, and patient communication with accuracy and care.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient appointments and maintain an organized daily schedule for the office.
• Welcome patients upon arrival, guide them through check-in procedures, and ensure required information is collected accurately.
• Handle inbound calls, respond to routine questions, and direct patient concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Complete patient registration tasks and update records in the system with careful attention to detail.
• Provide clear service and support to patients before, during, and after appointments.
• Work closely with the onsite manager and office staff to keep front-desk operations running smoothly.
• Use office technology and internal systems effectively to manage administrative and patient service tasks.
• Maintain a business-casual presence while delivering a positive experience for patients and visitors.
• At least 2 years of experience in patient services, front-desk healthcare support, or a similar customer-facing medical office role.
• Background in patient scheduling, patient registration, and general patient assistance.
• Strong call handling and customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable learning new systems and using technology for daily administrative work.
• Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Reliable transportation and availability to work onsite in Wilmington, Delaware from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Detail-oriented communication skills and a willingness to grow within the role.
