Job Description:

Food Runners may be utilized at Hard Rock Cafe during high business volume. In addition to delivering guests’ orders, they will assist servers in responding to the requests of our guests.  The main responsibility of this position is to deliver food to guests in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

Basic functions of a Food Runner:

  • Deliver food to guests quickly and efficiently.
  • Deliver condiments and drinks as needed (to include alcoholic beverages).
  • Refill beverages as needed. Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous and polite manner.
  • Promptly and professionally, handle guest issues and communicates problems and concern to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized server alley and expo area.
  • Stock ice and glassware on the server line.
  • Pre-buss tables.
  • Clean and reset dirty tables.
  • Sweep the floor.
  • Assist and communicate clearly with the kitchen staff and front of the house staff.
