Job description

Automotive Detailer

Join our team at Runde Chevrolet Buick GMC, a leading automotive dealership committed to providing top-notch vehicles and exceptional customer service. We specialize in both new and used cars, and we're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to help maintain the quality of our used car inventory.

As an Automotive Detailer, you will be responsible for detailing used cars brought in on trade. Your role is crucial in ensuring that each vehicle meets our high standards of cleanliness and presentation before being showcased to our customers. You will be responsible for both the interior and exterior detailing of vehicles, making them look as close to new as possible.

Hours will include weekdays 3:00-7:00pm, and Saturdays from 8:00am-3:00pm. Additional summer hours will also be available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning and polishing vehicle exteriors.
  • Clean and sanitize vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, upholstery, and dashboards.
  • Apply protective finishes to vehicle exteriors.
  • Inspect vehicles for imperfections and ensure they meet dealership quality standards.
  • Safely and efficiently operate detailing tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any damage or issues with vehicles to management.
  • Assist with other duties as needed, including vehicle transport and customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for cars.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of detailing products and equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
