Job description

RUG ART is a luxury custom rug company specializing in high-end handmade rugs for interior designers, architects, and trade professionals. We are seeking a polished, organized, and service-oriented professional to join our team as a Showroom Coordinator.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a design-focused environment, takes pride in creating exceptional client experiences, and can manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience & Communications

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by welcoming guests and serving as a key point of contact for clients, designers, and vendors
  • Communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through thoughtful follow-up and attentive service

Sales & Order Support

  • Process quotes, orders, and client requests accurately and efficiently
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Assist with project follow-up and coordination

Showroom Operations & Presentation

  • Maintain an organized, polished, and welcoming showroom environment
  • Organize and maintain the sample library and showroom materials
  • Assist with showroom presentation and product displays

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, document management, and office organization
  • Assist with site visits, measurements, installations, and occasional errands
  • Help maintain office supplies and support daily business operations

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly polished, professional, and service-oriented
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, interior design, or showroom environments preferred
  • Experience working with interior designers, architects, and trade professionals is a plus
  • Strong computer skills and experience with:
    • EZ Office

    • Microsoft Excel⁠
