We have been engaged by a profitable Techstars Alumni here in Boston growing their engineering team which is currently re-creating half of their Rails based platform as a SPA AngularJS application. They are looking for an engineer interested in taking the retail side of their SaaS based brand-to-retailer marketing platform into current tools and technologies allowing for the experience and performance local retailers need to provide to stay relevant.
You will be rewriting half of the existing code base of a solution currently being used by companies such as Chevrolet, North Face, GE, Converse, and many others to increase the engagement of their customers through local retail locations. This platform is currently being used to support over 42,000 "Main Street" retailers around the world.
This platform is designed specifically to provide these "Main Street" retailers the advantage they need to stay competitive in this e-tail driven economy.

Qualifications
About You:
  • Expert-level JavaScript programming and working knowledge of at least one popular JavaScript framework (AngularJS, Backbone.js, React.js, Knockout.js, etc) with AngularJS experience preferred.
  • Experience working on large-scale SaaS initiatives
  • Demonstrated strong front-end development skills especially concerning object-oriented design patterns and object-oriented CSS. (Sass, etc)
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools

What you'll be doing:
  • You should expect to be involved throughout the entire product life cycle (FDLC) from day one of a complete rearchitecting of an existing, proven solution into a new SPA using AngularJS and other related tools.
  • Work with User Experience (UX), Design, and API development team on a daily basis to support the needs of clients.
  • Support and educate other team members with your expertise when they have questions.
