The Engineering Team at Fleetio is expanding and has an opportunity for an AI Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an experienced AI engineer to build AI enabled solutions and help share our AI strategy. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and product leaders to build and drive our AI roadmap.

Your Impact
  • As a subject matter expert, advise executives and business leaders on technology, strategy, and policy issues associated with AI
  • Develop and train ML models and optimize AI algorithms.
  • Develop prototypes and validate solutions through fast experimentation.
  • Partner with product and engineering partners to ideate, design, and implement solutions.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and anomalies to aid in developing relevant and accurate solutions.
  • Help build data pipelines and cleanse data as necessary to train ML models.
  • Document AI processes, models, and other relevant areas as necessary.
  • Make hiring recommendations as necessary to grow and maintain relevant AI skills.
Your Experience
  • 2+ years of experience as an AI Engineer building and deploying successful AI-enabled solutions
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python
  • Expertise in developing and deploying AI and ML models
  • Ability to test and validate models
  • Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks
  • Advanced knowledge in machine learning and associated algorithms (Linear regression, Logistic regression, Decision tree, Bayesian, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or related fields.
Considered a plus
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Experience with Ruby, Ruby-on-Rails, React
