5+ years experience building production systems with web-scripting languages including Ruby, Perl or PHPย 

BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.ย 

Strong experience with any of the following Ruby, Rails, Linux, HTML, AWS, AJAX, JavaScript and JS libraries, HTTP, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, Redis, Memcacheย 

Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).ย 

2+ years experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST.ย 

Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.ย 

Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process.ย 

Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).
