What You Will Do:
  • Provide technical ownership and support for production test systems, troubleshooting issues from board-level through final system testing to maintain production schedules and product quality.
  • Analyze test failures, manufacturing defects, and yield trends; perform root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and first-pass yield.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing test efficiency, production throughput, equipment utilization, and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Lead capacity planning activities by assessing staffing, equipment, and resource requirements to support current and future production demand.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize test equipment, fixtures, and automated test solutions to improve test coverage, repeatability, and operational efficiency.
  • Support new product introductions and Production Readiness Reviews, ensuring designs are manufacturable, testable, and scalable for production.
  • Collaborate with design, quality, manufacturing, and program teams to resolve production issues, implement engineering changes, and support sustaining activities.
  • Manage test equipment investments, including evaluation, justification, procurement, and implementation of capital equipment and tooling.
  • Mentor test technicians and engineers, providing technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting support across manufacturing operations.
  • Maintain configuration-controlled test documentation, procedures, and change management records while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

How You Will Get Here:
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AC/DC electrical theory and circuit analysis. Basic troubleshooting of automation equipment for Underfill, Conformal Coat, and Contact Soldering.
  • Equipment Mastery: Expert use of oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic software results. Formal experience with root cause analysis
  • Competency using Microsoft Office, experience with SQL Server and managing networks. Experience with SAP / ERP
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with engineering, precision inspection personnel, and shop floor employees
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 3 year prior experience

Pay Range: $70,000-$90,000 per year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Melbourne, FL.
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required
Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
